Jill Johnson, his friend and potential girlfriend, begins to notice some changes in Rick, and she becomes suspicious that he might just be the hero that has shown up in the news.
Cast: Drake Bell, Sara Paxton, Christopher Mc Donald, Leslie Nielsen, Kevin Hart, Marion Ross, Ryan Hansen, Keith David, Brent Spiner, Robert Joy, Jeffrey Tambor, Robert Hays, Tracy Morgan, Regina Hall, Craig Bierko, Dan Castellaneta, Pamela Anderson, Charlene Tilton aims to be a spoof on, you guessed it, the superhero films that have been blockbusters for the last several years.
Now armed with powers that place him above normal humans, Rick decides to find other people who are like him so that he can learn to be a proper hero.
Along the way, he comes across Tom Cruise and Barry Bonds whose recent headlines may cause some problems in Rick’s life.
Essentially a retread of every bad grade-school joke you're happy to have forgotten, the film manages the unlikely act of making the much-lampooned satirists Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer look reasonably intelligent by comparison.
